Lyden av Snø (“The Sound of Snow”), released in December 2023, is Askvik’s first full Norwegian-language album — an intimate and atmospheric work that captures the stillness and beauty of Nordic winters. Featuring contributions from renowned trumpeter Mathias Eick, FAME’s Studio Orchestra, and the steel sound-sculptures of Stahlquartett, it is a rich sonic experience that balances warmth with crystalline clarity.
